A Storied History

The property at 101 E. Walnut Avenue holds a deep place in Wildwood history. Long before it was The Inlet, the site was home to the legendary Westy’s Irish Pub. Even further back, the building was known as Cozy Morley’s Talk of the Town and the We Two Inn. In 2017, the venue transitioned to its current identity under operating partner Puri Garzone III, whose family actually lived across the street from the bar for decades. In 2021, the venue underwent a significant rebranding—dropping the “On Olde” from its name—and completed a major renovation to transform from a traditional Irish pub into the modern, coastal-themed powerhouse it is today.

When the sun goes down, The Inlet transforms into a premier nightlife spot. It features a large first-floor stage that hosts some of the shore’s top bands and DJs every Friday and Saturday night.
