When the Pic closed its doors in 2022 after 30 years, there was a void in the local “dive” scene. Owners Dimitris Ostrovskis and Michael Ghabryal stepped in, buying the building in 2023 and performing a top-to-bottom renovation that fixed the infamous issues of the past (yes, the bathrooms actually have toilet seats now).

Walking in, you’ll find a space that is refreshingly clean but maintains that essential “dark bar” soul. It feels like a genuine local retreat just steps away from the chaotic neon of the Boardwalk. It is a “no-frills” experience, but it’s done with pride.
