Chubby’s storied history begins in 1933, founded by Joseph “Chubby” Stafford as Chubby’s 1½ Hearth. While the restaurant went through transitions, it was gloriously “reborn” in March 2015 as Chubby’s 1½ Hearth Steakhouse, taking its rightful place among the finest steakhouses in the Philadelphia area.
