The legacy of Chickie’s & Pete’s began in 1977 when Peter Senior and Henrietta Ciarrocchi bought a small neighborhood taproom in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. Their son, Pete Ciarrocchi, carried the torch, refining the business and perfecting the recipe for the now-famous Crabfries around 1980. The Bordentown location, which opened around 2004/2005, was a significant milestone, marking the brand’s first step into the New Jersey market and bringing the authentic “Philly Crab House and Sports Bar” experience across the bridge.
