Don’t let the name fool you—while it keeps the unpretentious, “everyone knows your name” vibe of a classic neighborhood dive, the experience is anything but gritty. It’s the perfect mashup of a high-energy sports bar, a live music venue, and a gastropub serving serious comfort food.
The Vibe The atmosphere here is electric and versatile. Whether you’re looking to crush some wings while watching the Eagles game, gather the family for a Sunday brunch, or dance the night away to a live band, this place shifts gears seamlessly. The rebranding brought a fresh look and new energy, but the “good times don’t have walls” philosophy remains, especially with their outdoor patio space for warmer days. This is one of those places that I only go if I am going with someone and the insist on going there. The service is hit or miss as well as the food. It seems like no matter if you get a table or sit at the bar it is the same service. The food is very basic bar food, nothing really stands out. I went for Halloween trivia and the trivia was great but the special Halloween themed drink I ordered did not come like the menu said it would. I was advertised as having edible glitter and a gumball eyeball. When it arrived “the gumball” was ping pong ball. And there was no glitter in it. Their all you can eat crabs are good but very overpriced compared to other places in the area that offer it.
It feels like Alisha’s game plan is to buy bars on the edge of nowhere and sell less than great, overpriced products. Both locations are basically the last bars you pass before nothingness. People in the woods do there because it’s the first place driving into civilization. I don’t get the draw to her places, but I guess it’s at least a good time.
