The winery officially opened its doors to the public in 2007. Originally named “Placido’s Winery,” it was changed in 2008 to “Plagido’s” to avoid confusion with a similarly named Tuscan winery. Plagido’s has been recognized for its excellence, earning “Winery of The Year” honors in both 2016 and 2017.
